Cindy Schoumacher is an agronomist (French “Ingénieur agronome”) specialized in the policies and markets of agriculture and of natural resources, and holds another master in environmental economics and policies. She studied in France (Agrocampus Ouest, Rennes, and AgroParisTech) and did several internships abroad. She especially worked at FAO on the greenhouse gas mitigation options in livestock, and at UNEP on the recognition and mainstreaming of biodiversity and ecosystem services within the pan-European policies. Then, she was selected for a traineeship at the European Commission, within DG Environment, unit F1 “Resource efficiency and economic analysis”, where she worked on many projects such as the composite index (environmental indicators), the raw and domestic material consumption, the Natural Capital Financing Facility, the Green Week 2014. She is working at Iodine since March 2014 on European projects mainly: IMPRESSIONS and OPERAs.
